Sunday 9th
March:
After collecting everyone at
their home we head up the N2 to
the Mossel Bay area. Just
shortly before reaching Mossel
Bay we take the R328 to the
Eight Bells Mountain Inn
where you will settle down for
the next 2 nights!
Monday 10th:
Today we head to George where we
will board the
Outenique Power Van
for a day in the country.
The stunning beauty of the
Outeniqua Mountains unfolds as
you travel one of South
Africa’s most scenic routes.
Experience the forest, four
passes, water falls, seven
tunnels, fynbos,
proteas, bird, animal life and
the panoramic picnic site.
Dinner back at the Eight Bells
Mountain Inn will have you all
exchanging stories of a day well
spent! |

Tuesday 11th:
we will travel to nearby
Oudtshoorn
and visit an Ostrich Farm in the
region and time permitting, the
Cango caves. Fancy riding an
ostrich? Pluck up the courage
and do this if you
wish!!Accommodation for the next
two nights
will be at
Oue Werf Country House &
Manor.
Wednesday 12th
: The
Meerkat Adventures
experience will give you an
opportunity to “Walk on the Wild
Side”! You will have to be up
before sunrise as this is the
only time that the Meerkats are
visible at their very best!
After meeting the Meerkats we
will enjoy a leisurely breakfast
followed by a day of relaxation. |

Thursday 13th:
We head back
to Cape Town along
Route 62,
passing towns of Calitzdorp
(famous for their Port) ;
Barrydale ; Montagu (time to
stop and stock up on dried
fruit) ; and then a lunch stop
in Robertson. We will be back in
the city by late afternoon. |
