First stop was the Aphrodosiac Shack
where the enthusiastic owner, Sean
had a super tale to tell of how they decided
on the unusual name for their products.
An excellent tasting was put out for the
ladies, and after a long coach trip to get
to Villiersdorp, the platters were very soon
clean, and the huge cool box of products -
cleaned up as well! What delicious
smoked snoek, butter, cheese, olive
oil...... our very first 'home tasting' of
such superior products that we were all
clamouring to know where we could get them
back in the city. Sean was very
quickly on hand with a list of outlets.
What an extremely energetic, hard working
young guy who can only but do well with his
awesome products! Thank you Sean. |

A proven fact that if you 'taste' the
product you take it home! Shopping bags
were filled to capacity. Joan
proved a real 'hit' with the little
girls when they came home from nursery
school. |

There was an anxious moment as the coach pulled
up the hill to get out from the Aphrodisiac
Shack property. "Hey Carol how do you find
these places!" Next stop the delightful
Dagbreek Restaurant just up the road. |
|
|
|
What a super welcoming restaurant Dagbreek is -
the old photos on the walls had many of the
ladies saying "Remember when...." and much fun
was had at the individual tables. Great to have
you drive us again Wayne! Visitors
Jeanette & Susan also joined us
for the day, as did Dennis (Laura's right hand). |

Mel recently returned from
a holiday in the UK, looked so well,
whilst Gill and Diane were
more than happy to have their photos
taken as well, showing their enjoyment. |

surprise when her dessert arrived with
candles - special wishes from us all,

Our trusty transport ready
and waiting for us to board and hit the
long road back home. Time to wind-down
and catch 40 winks. Complete with a
miniature rose from our tables behind
her ear, Molly catches a
bit of me-time. |
