Once upon a time....Just kidding, but this is where it all started.
My sincere thanks to all the "first timer" members and guests who came along on this inaugural outing.
A real pity about the light drizzle at The Three Streams Trout Farm, but you all coped fantastically.

The Chocolate Shop will never be the same again, after all the "sweet toothed" Time-Out ladies descended on it.

Mathew Gordon proved that cooking can be made easy. His final smoked trout dish was to die for.
Lunch at the Grapevine Restaurant proved to be a good time to get to know each other. Everyone enjoyed the shopping afterwards (of course). Whilst talking of shopping, when the coach stopped at Pippin on the way out of Franschhoek, I have never seen so many anxious ladies wanting to buy trout and other home-made goodies. This is definitely going to be an important part of future outings.

Our transport supplier today was Springbok Atlas.
Following the outing I received many phone calls and emails about the day; even a fax with a poem. These are all very special to me and are already in my scrapbook for future reminiscing.

Thank you all for a great response to this, our inaugural outing.
I was a bit apprehensive about sharing the things I enjoy,
but now I know what  all women enjoy:
We all enjoy getting out, meeting people, making new friends
and of course, shopping!
 

2008 Update: 52 people attended and Outing Price was R120.00.
Boy, inflation has certainly taken hold in 9 years!
