Christine of Mountain Oaks put on a
special organic market for Time Out.
She arranged for a local cheese maker & a lady
from Franschhoek (Waterfall River Farm)
to attend. Did you purchase her olive oil? She
has just beaten 20 contenders to win the Consol
Trophy in the “Extra Virgin Oil” competition.
She has invited us to her home to come and watch
her cooking a Mediterranean lunch - as soon as
all the holidays are over. I will visit her to
arrange this!
All in all a super morning and what a delicious
tea. Christine, and her helper, who did the
baking, produced for us. |

Lunch at Jason's Hill Bistro was very tasty -
apologies to those of you who had to wait! Perhapsthe menu
choice added to this!
You were compensated with a take-away in the form of a
bottle of wine, but you must have been so hungry, with the
aromas permeating the bistro whilst you waited and waited!
Wine shopping and over-loading the coach completed
the day! |
