TIMEOUT - Previous Outings |

FRANSCHHOEK

MONT ROCHELLE
|
Time Out went to Franschhoek today
and did a tour of the new Mont Rochelle
Hotel, on what was probably the hottest day
of the year. Must have been 40 degrees plus.
The coach seemed to take ages to cool down
on our way home. |
|
Located on the
hills overlooking Franschhoek valley is Mont
Rochelle, a luxury hotel with breathtaking panoramic views of the
surrounding hills and valley. This elegant thatched villa is set on a
wine estate, complete with working winery and promises guests an
exclusive luxury experience. From wine tasting to cookery courses, Mont
Rochelle offers a rich variety of entertainment and leisure activities.
A masseuse is on hand for an indulgent massage or, for those more
active, the region offers horse rides, invigorating hikes, biking trails
or fishing. |

We had lunch at The Country
Kitchen on the Estate. |
