Creation Wines
Hemel en Aarde Valley

VENUE MADE IN HEAVEN
Splendidly fashioned by Nature and superbly equipped by its inspired owners, Creation offers the ideal setting for fairytale weddings, memorable private parties and innovative corporate functions. An attractive variety of flexible options are available. These range from simply hiring the venue to all-inclusive packages where a professional team takes care of all details.

Time Out decided to try their food and wine pairing.  The drive through to the Hemel en Aarde Valley is a feast to the eyes - the fynbos in the Western Cape always has different colors flowering, and to see the cattle grazing in the fields with the superb mountains in the background Jenny was heard to say - "Wow this is better than Switzerland!"

Carolyn introduced us to the concept of Creation, and told us her background.  Carolyn and husband JC (Jean-Claude) left Switzerland together with long-time friend Christoph and started Creation.  The Time Out ladies look fascinated at the concept of "food & wine pairing".

"The warm sun on our backs, a glass of delicious wine and awesome canapés - a day out doesn't get better than this!"

The selection of canapés introduced by Carolyn were delicious - and the anti pasti platters with another glass of their award winning wine proved to be a hit with everyone!  "Just my kind of food" was heard from a few of the ladies!

"Now at least when I have guests at home I will know which wine to serve with which food"  The built in fireplace proved to be a winner - and just took 'the edge' off the Autumn day.

The vineyards are already turning into their Autumn colours - so very colorful and beautiful.

Philip took a few of us down into the cellar for a tour.  He has a wealth of knowledge and Brian seems fascinated by what he has to say.

Once again, a happy bunch of ladies always ready to smile - the bright colors they are wearing are very 'in" in the fashion stakes for winter!

This "window of opportunity" was installed to allow light into the cellar - but Philip told u the story of an Afrikaans lady who called it a "Kookie-lookie" - a very apt name!  Ask anyone to translate for you if you don't understand Afrikaans. As can be seen the glass is strong enough to support two people.
