OUTING REPORT

Being our last Time Out trip for 2013 we had a good turn-out of ladies all dressed with something RED in their hair or clothing.  Red always makes everyone happy, but going to Wellington at the end of November it might have been better to wear beige or white! (Because of the heat!).

We started our day at the Pacmar factory outside Wellington.  They make delicious juices and their tiny little factory shop had the ladies queuing outside taking turns in the shop to buy fruit juice to take home.
Next stop was the Glodina Towel Factory shop where you would have sworn that the ladies had never before seen new towels………trolleys and huge bags later we all got back onto the coach.

Festa was our restaurant of choice for lunch, situated just at the start to the Bainskloof Pass road.  It is on the KleineValleij wine farm and is very picturesque.  The views make one instantly feel that you are out in the country and the peace was tangible!  (Until the ladies started to enjoy the lunch and then the noise drowned out the peace!)
First course was Branco bread (like a pizza) with a delicious filling.  This was followed by their Buffet-to-table meal which comprised dishes brought to the table for you to serve yourself.  A very good concept because then everyone can choose what they want to eat.  They could choose from Bobotie ; Chicken Pie ; Delicious fresh oven baked vegetables ; and a huge salad.  A lovely concept and very sociable.

Everyone had brought along a gift and these were exchanged before we received our dessert, which was a bread and butter croissant pudding which everyone finished, but claimed that the portion was too large!

Good wishes to all for Christmas and the year of 2014 which lies ahead of us!
