If you need a bit of time out to restore
your energy, then sit back, relax, and
enjoy the scenery and dramatic
landscapes of Mpumalanga. The rolling
hills and spectacular rock formations of
the rugged Northern Drakensburg Mountain
Range touch the sky, and form a dramatic
backdrop to the third largest canyon of
its kind in the world, the Blyde River
Canyon. Cascading waterfalls plummet
dramatically into the gorge as we view
the Lowveld from God’s Window.
We visit the picturesque village of
Graskop and the quaint town of Pilgrims
Rest to find out all about the gold rush
in this historical mining town.
All the beauty of the area will increase
your appetite so lunch is at the famous
Harrie’s Pancakes.
After lunch we continue our tour to
Bourke’s Luck Potholes to marvel at
another incredible creation of nature as
we witness the power of water against
solid rock! On the return journey you
will have time to see it all from the
other side and you will reflect once
again on the marvels of nature you
experienced all in one day! |
