ENDANGERED WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE-FULL DAY |

Situated in a part of Mpumalanga
renowned for its natural beauty, we find
the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre. As
numbers of certain species decrease, our
chances of seeing them in their natural
habitat become more remote. This is our
chance to enjoy a scenic drive before
arriving at this sanctuary (the largest
of its kind in South Africa) where
dedicated conservationists do all they
can to rehabilitate and preserve species
to save them from extinction. These
animals would not be able to survive in
the wild as they have been injured,
orphaned or poisoned. It is inspiring to
see how much has been achieved here!
We continue our tour to the Endangered
Species Centre where we enjoy lunch and
have time to find out more about how one
person’s love for cheetah started the
project which has developed into this
highly respected sanctuary. You’ll be
fascinated and amazed by what you see,
and you’ll leave feeling great
admiration for the individuals who do so
much to ensure that future generations
will be able to enjoy the privilege of
seeing these rare animals. |
