Want to
make a trunk call? Set on the banks of
the Sabi River on the 2,000 hectare
Sandford Conservancy we find 6 rescued
African Elephants waiting to welcome us.
They smile as we touch them and feel
them and connect with them while we
whisper sweet nothings in those great
big flapping ears.
These gentle giants seem to enjoy the
interaction as much as we do. Your
presence here ensures their future!
These elephants were saved from culling
and here, in this sanctuary, they will
lead a life of dignity and respect they
deserve. You will feel privileged at the
close encounter with these magnificent
mammals.
You may choose to saddle up and ride up
high on the elephant’s back where you
get better views of the beautiful
surrounding area. It is an amazing
feeling to amble through the African
bush on the back of an elephant, and
you’re perfectly safe with the elephant
handler close by. |

properly or causing disturbance.
Entrance fees charged by third
party service providers may be
charged for children under 12
years.
Children under 8 years are only
permitted on game drives on a
private tour, and on certain
tours at the discretion of
Hylton Ross Touring and third
party service providers.
