DURBAN HIGHLIGHTS TOUR

Welcome to Durban! Come and enjoy a day getting
to know more about one of South Africa’s
most amazing cities and a premier
coastal holiday resort.
The soft sandy beaches are licked by the
warm rolling waves of the Indian Ocean
and framed by Durban’s new Golden Mile
promenade. This is the playground of
choice for surfers, sun worshipers and
energetic beach games, but don’t be
tempted to join them for a day on the
beach! It's hard to resist, but an
exciting city awaits and this is your
chance to explore it to the full!
The elegant arches which line the
veranda of the Kwa Muhle museum (closed
Sundays) welcome us back to the past and
explain the history of Durban. This
allows a greater understanding how
Durban evolved.
The splendour of Durban’s Botanical
Gardens and its magnificent orchid house
are next on our itinerary and we enjoy a
stroll through the lush foliage and of
the beautifully manicured gardens.
Feeling peckish? Now’s your chance to
try a unique local Bunny Chow, before we
head up to new heights at the iconic
Moses Mabhida Stadium! For panoramic
views, ride the cable car (own
account) to the top of the stadium, and
admire Durban for as far as the eye can
see!
We end our day with some cool
entertainment at uShaka Marine World,
Durban’s exciting theme park, which
includes Sea World and provides a window
into the Oceans mysteries. Sit back and
relax while you enjoy the dolphin,
penguin and seal shows, an exciting end
to our day filled with Durban’s
highlights. |
