DURBAN-CITY TOUR-HALF DAY

Tanned surfers riding the sparkling ocean waves and golden sandy beaches dotted  with colourful beach goers is what you see as we drive along Durban’s recently renovated Golden Mile on our Durban City tour. Our guide will tell us all the interesting facts about the City Hall, which has its own unique architecture and history. We stop to visit the Kwa Muhle Museum (Closed Sundays) with its impressive arched façade, to find out about the harsh labour control during the apartheid era, and then onto Durban’s Botanical Gardens for a refreshing stroll to marvel at the magnificent herbarium, orchid house and cycad collection.

With Durban being the home to the largest Indian population living outside India, we get to taste their local cuisine, the delicious and unique Bunny Chow.

Our final attraction is to the Moses Mabhida Stadium, one of the host stadiums to the 2010 Fifa World Cup. This magnificent stadium offers the option of a cable car ride (own account) to the top of an arch for a final view of this amazing city.
