We started off at the Groot Eiland Wine Cellar – Butternut soup ‘to die for’. Next stop the Slanghoek Wine Estate where a Biltong and Blue Cheese Soup was on offer – coupled with their exquisite wine.
Dot enjoyed her ‘collecting at the Rietdakkie farm stall on the way home – a shop full of treasures.

What a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning – exploring the Breedekloof Valley.  A cup of hot soup – followed by a glass of Soetes (Sweet Wine). Life is good.
