The Fynbos Estate just outside Malmesbury is an oasis of peace and beauty. When you visit the area there are beautiful walks originating from the old farmhouse. The walk to the Sacred Forest being an absolute must.

The gracious old farmhouse with its wrap-around verandah is a treat on a hot summers day, whilst the pavilion is a 'must-use' venue for conferences and special lunches.  A very well-appointed room which is very special to use

The Time Out Ladies Club members never go anywhere without their shopping bags!  After a cup of tea/coffee they explored the 'sales table'. In fact, the local cheese was 'sold out' within a half hour.  The local lady was quickly summoned and brought more stock which was also depleted.

A few of the girls came prepared with walking shoes, all ready to walk up the mountain.  Dawn really looked the part. She is indeed an experienced hiker!  The problem for many, was we only started to walk after 11h30, so it proved a bit too hot for a few and they quickly turned around and came back to the farm.

Sophie Nkosi was happy to be re-united with family members!  (Jokes aside - this little guy whose father works at Fynbos befriended Bridget very quickly - we all know her charms so well).  Meanwhile whenever the camera is pointed at a group they immediately 'pose' and thoroughly enjoy being on candid camera.

Carol and Marie were very quick to toast life - it can't get better than this.  A few of the ladies enjoyed a wine tasting before lunch.  Dragonridge Wines are produced on this estate, and Johan is very proud of them.

The happy hikers who made it to the Sacred Forest.  Cynthia said she must have been the 'first person to walk in a long dress and 'bling' - beads to boot!  Well done, girls!

The dogs got into the pool long before the hikers had time to cool their weary feet and legs!  Dennis and Billy enjoyed being the only 2 men with 35 ladies.  "Life is good" albeit a bit noisy at times!

The spirit of Christmas was evident with Christmas hats and crackers.  These gracious ladies enjoyed posing while Dennis and Pam were deep in discussion about the celebrating they were going to do over the weekend!

Billy made a fuss of Maureen (which she seemed to really enjoy).  Dawn and Ingrid became 'kissing cousins" with the novelties they found in their Christmas crackers.
"And so, another year of Fun & Friendship" draws to a close,
May you all have a blessed Christmas with loved ones and
return in the New Year, refreshed and ready to start this all over again"
Thank you all for the special times we have spent together
