The
olive festival is a day filled with happy faces,
plenty to do, to see and eat! A full coach of
happy revelers arrived mid-morning to enjoy the
day in the Riebeek Valley.
The weather was perfect – in fact, perhaps a bit
too hot – the Olive Festival is more festive
when the weather is a bit cooler. However the
day has ‘something for everyone’ – a full day of
fun-in-the-sun!!

The Olive Festival, this year, was so well run…………..craft stalls seemed to be very good and almost all in one place. The Olive Spitting competition fun to watch and the food stalls down Short Street – a feast to the eye!
The Steel Band which had apparently come from Cape Town provided good enjoyment for the ladies who chose to eat at Kasteelberg Bistro
ALL IN ALL – AN EXCELLENT DAY OUT – AND ONE TO BE REPEATED YEAR AFTER YEAR!
